Re: Incident that occurred at the Gurudwara in relation to the Police

It has been brought to my notice including by a notable local personality that a disturbing episode recently occurred at the Gurudwara involving the Police.

Being a life member who has arduously endeavoured to diligently serve the Sabha for nearly fifty years with its best interests in mind, I am astonished at the need to enquire whether the Gurudwara’s management is in the EC’s control or the young zealous and excitable elements that presently seem to be leading our treasured institution?

I am further perturbed to have been informed that a special meeting was convened regarding this issue where only nine members were in attendance and no appropriate or material decision was accomplished. Given the reports in the community which allude that these young chiefs intend to banish the harmonious community relations that we all have worked hard to develop, can I enquire whether they are preparing a parallel constabulary that we will consequently be required to rely upon? If so I trust you will be releasing their national call number soon, such that we will be obliged to use instead of 999.
