Indian high commission London held an outreach surgery at Sri Guru Ravidass Temple in Bedord

It was a joint initiative lead by the Indian High Commission, London facilitated and coordinated by Sri Guru Ravidass Sabha Bedford & supported by SEVA Trust UK (Bedford).

Over 400 applications of OCI, Passport & other consular services were dealt with saving London trips for all these applicants & families as all these applications were dealt with on the spot on Sunday. Free food and hot meals were served throughout the day to over 500 people who travelled from Bedfordshire and many other towns to avail this free service in Bedford.

Formal opening of the surgery was done by Deputy Lieutenant Prof Garch Randhawa who said these are really important services provided to the local communities at their door step.

Team of 12 officers lead by Anil Nautiyal from Indian High commission London worked till late without any break to ensure all applications are dealt with.

At the end of a very successful day, the President of SGRS Jaswinder Kumar, Secretary Raj Randhawa conveyed their sincere thanks to HCI team for their excellent support and presented Siropas to all officers and the Chairman of SEVA Trust Cllr Charan Kanwal Singh Sekhon also thank the team and said ‘’This is an excellent example to help & serve our local communities whilst working in coordination with each other to maximise benefits for all communities & Indian Dispora.
