Singh Sabha London east gurdwara held Panjabi school presentation day

Singh Sabha London east gurdwara held Panjabi school presentation day at Barking gurdwara on 7th July 2024 1pm to 5pm it was day of full excitement for the children and students who received their GCSE & A level certificates and vouchers for their achievement. Total of 60 GCSE, 18 A level and 215 beginner & intermediate students participated in the event. Certificates was presented by the chief guest Dr. & professor Opinderjit Kaur ( director of Sikh studies and Panjabi language development centre, Wolverhampton university)along with president Satnam singh Sandhu, vice president Gurdip Singh Hundal and education secretary Chhinder singh Gill. All three teacher’s of SSLE, Maninder Kaur Bajwa, Kulwinder kaur and Balvinder Kaur Narwal were also honoured with trophies and vouchers. Teachers prepared pizzas, chips, cakes and drinks for the students for their hard work and achievement. It was great honour to have our chief guest Dr. Opinderjit Kaur to the end who gave speech and chatted with parents. Education secretary Chhinder Singh Gill thanked teachers for their hard work and dedication and thanked Dr. Opinderjit Kaur for coming and sharing her experience and knowledge with us. It was day of celebration for us all and wish our students best of luck and success in the future. We urge all parents to enroll their children in Panjabi classes held at both Gurdwaras, Barking and Seven kings.
