Cranford business and community leaders back Seema Malhotra to be MP for Feltham and Heston

Local community and business leaders have backed Labour Candidate Seema Malhotra who is standing again to be MP for Feltham and Heston where she grew up. Seema was first elected in 2011 and was the first female Panjabi MP elected to the House of Commons. She is the Shadow Minister for Skills and in Parliament has been co-chair of All Party Parliamentary Group on India Trade and Investment.

Seema has also spoken out in Parliament in support of the farmers protest and Labour’s commitment to getting answers to British’s involvement in 1984 raid on the Golden Temple.

Local business leader Jagraj Singh Sran BEM of Heathrow Estate Agents said:

“We are calling on the community to vote for the well deserving Seema Malhotra. She is always on hand when community needs her.”
