On the vibrant afternoon of Friday, February 21st, the Punjabi Theatre Academy UK, in collaboration with the Southall Community Alliance, hosted a captivating cultural event titled “Let’s Celebrate Together.” This event took place just outside the iconic Southall Town Hall and was organized in partnership with the Ealing Council, the London Mayor’s office, and the UK Government. We aimed to unite our community and pay tribute to the extraordinary tapestry of cultural diversity that defines us.

As the Chief Guest, Council Leader Peter Mason shared his views on the importance of theatre in real life and the demand for a mini-drama hub in Southall. Councilor John Martin, the guest of honor, also shared an exciting update on the School of Film and Drama Academy.

Notable business and community leaders attended the event, including Pratap Singh Moumi, Kulwinder Pal, Amrik Singh Muzral, Sukhdev Komal, Harsev Bains, Jags Sanghera, Dr Onkar Sahota, Rozeena Vander Waal, and Ravi Bolina. We are proud to have awarded him for his invaluable contribution to cultural initiatives.

The energetic hosting duo Kamaljeet Shembi and Tajinder Sindra brought the event to life, keeping the atmosphere lively and engaging. Photographer Ravi Bolina skillfully captured the joyful moments. The celebration was unforgettable, featuring spellbinding performances by singers Ravi Mehra, M. Bobby, and Umair Sultan and dazzling Bollywood dance routines that left everyone in awe. It was a day filled with joy, community spirit, and a genuine celebration of our rich cultural heritage!
